It has always been in English, and there's no translation to my language anyway. I changed the languaged to English in the system settings for the whole 3DS though, didn't help.
Download EUR, and turn on language/region emulation and tell me if that works.

Welp, it works now. Thanks! Guess I shouldn't argue with fate and just stick to the EUR games since my console is EUR xD

UPD: Okay, it works weirdly. So basically I spawned item A in my inv, then dragged it to Slot 2 and tried to spawn item B. It didn't work. I dragged item A back to Slot 1 and spawned item B. Obviously, item B replaced item A. I ate item B (it was a fruit) and tried to spawn item A again. It worked. Then I enabled duplication and duplicated item A to second slot, and turned the first-slot item A into item B. It worked. But then... someone else came to the island. I ate item B, dragged item A into Slot 1 again, turned it into item B and ate it. After that I had an empty inventory. So I tried to spawn another item aaaand... it didn't work! At all. Seems like the rules had changed with the arrival of a newcomer. To check this, I picked up a flower and tried to turn it into item A. It worked.

UPD2: Mystery solved! It just turns out I'm an idiot. The second method I used to get rid of an unwanted item was to turn it into an item with the ID 0000. While it does destroy it completely, it also seems to fuck up Slot 1 for cheat manipulations until you put a "legally obtained" item there. So don't do that guys, ever xD
Would it be possible to add some kind of foolproof protection in case someone else tries to play smartass like me?

And NPC mod's issue is fixed :) I haven't found any bugs yet, but you can now freely walk about in your town without those pesky infinite loading bugs :)
Grab the latest commit, as now I'm working with @Slattz for more cheats :P

I have returned :D My old 3DS broke. Got a 2DS and installed A9LH as soon as methods surfaced. Now I can proudly use this thing again!

Great! Check out the latest commit on my repo if you want ;)
Oh! Cool! I didn't even notice the repo. I just downloaded the latest on the OP. Sure has come a long way! (And so has the game itself.)
I also have actually good wifi now, so if messing around is needed, I'm open! :P

NPC mod does not replace Pete or Resetti. Pete is still Pete when he is delivering letters from Nintendo and when you reset Resetti is still Resetti.
I disabled the reset center because of all the times I had to reset lmao, and as for Pete, I'd have to manually find him too, when does he come?
@RyDog Did you find anything useful in ACNL: Welcome amiibo yet? Any different offsets?
on the latest commit, if you press R with walk through walls enabled, it turns off gravity. it's extremely buggy and I can't turn off walk through walls with it, but I'll see what I can do with this offset. it was found by @scotline

They probably said "Hey, why not we combine the two together and make a 'new' DS to sell".

It's a DS Lite in a slightly bigger DS Lite shell.

Nothing special about it other than it's more comfortable than the Lite

@SylverReZ if you could find a v5 DS ML you would have the best of both worlds since the v5 units had the same backlight brightness levels as the DS Lite unlockable with flashme

A woman with no arms and no legs was sitting on a beach. A man comes along and the woman says, "I've never been hugged before." So the man feels bad and hugs her. She says "Well i've also never been kissed before." So he gives her a kiss on the cheek. She says "Well I've also never been fucked before." So the man picks her up, and throws her in the ocean and says "Now you're fucked."

anyways, we need to re-normalize physical media

if i didn't want my games to be permanent, then i'd rent them

Agreed, that why I try to buy all my games on disc, Xbox anyways. Switch games (which I pirate tbh) don't matter much, I stay offline 24/7 anyways.
  • AncientBoi @ AncientBoi:
    I don't pirate them, I Use Them :mellow:. Like I do @BigOnYa 's couch :tpi::evil::rofl2:

  • cearp @ cearp:
@BakerMan - you can still "own" digital media, arguably easier and better than physical since you can make copies and backups, as much as you like.

    The issue is DRM
  • cearp @ cearp:
You can buy drm free games / music / ebooks, and if you keep backups of your data (like documents and family photos etc), then you shouldn't lose the game. but with a disk, your toddler could put it in the toaster and there goes your $60

    :rofl2:
  • cearp @ cearp:
still, I agree physical media is nice to have. just pointing out the issue is drm
  • rqkaiju2 @ rqkaiju2:
i like physical media because it actually feels like you own it. thats why i plan on burning music to cds
  • cearp @ cearp:
It's nice to not have to have a lot of physical things though, saves space
