We see a lot of new emulators right now in GBA and other websites for N64, SNES, GBA, PSP and etc.

however, Dev mode does not allow our usual xb1 apps. You have to leave it every time you want to enjoy Ori or even Youtube.

Therefore, I tried some .appxbundle files in the dev mode I downloaded from various websites, and vala; it worked.

If there is a way to convert all those xap, appx packages in the microsoft store or in other pages into xbox one version, then I guess I will never go back to retail mode.

Emulation is one thing; but the apps and PC software is completely another thing. Think about possibility of Kodi, Android emulation, various internet explorers, and many others on your XB1,

All we need is small software-apps that are already in business emulating all those consoles and running all these apps AND compile them so that they can work in dev mode in xbox one!

This should not be rocket science. This should not take 4 years to crack.

if the tlu link doesnt show up you have to wait for it to download on the windows 10 store (not all the way) sometimes it takes longer

what i do

1 run urlsnooper 2 and search for links
2 open the windows 10 store then open to the app or game you want then click install
3 open browser
4 on urlsnooper 2 wait and search for a tlu. link right click then copy to clipboard
5 paste it in the browser and hit enter and it should download

I managed to get a hold of the C64 emulator appx. It installs correctly on the Xbox and loads but I cant control the app I think the app requires a device with a touch screen.

I have another Appx.
This time it's an Atari 2600/7800 Emulator. It suffers from the same issue as the C64 Emu, but this time I found the Source code too so hopefully someone here can compile it with the proper Xbox controls

Those are the same exact emulators I talked about before. The c64 emulator is the one that I shared here before. Unfortunately, I can't do anything about it unless I have the source code for both apps. But no problem, retrix should eventually have support for both systems. Unless @wiired24 has a solution.

edit: the source code looks like a mess i doubt anything would compile but idk
