Awhile back I picked up a retail Cubic Ninja for $5 at GS before news leaked out.
I wanted to know, is it still useful for exploit purposes or just sell it for whatever I can get?

Thanks

No one in their right mind would want to do that
I tried... Holy wow the game just feels so bad to play. It's like if Super Monkey Ball was made by Ubisoft-
wait that's exactly what it is

DS flashcarts will soon be the Holy Grail of entrypoints (arm9 == all access).

The problem, of course, is not all flashcarts will be compatible with ntrboothax, and they're mostly illegal in western countries.
That means CN should still hold some value for a good while. Certainly as soundhax fades into distant memory and primaries stop popping up after talented devs move on to the switch.

What FW Version are you on;
And it may be possible to use that entry point to access Homebrew, and as an exploit to get CFW (if you never did earlier).

I have a OG 3DSXL with that latest emu firmware that 3DS Gateway supports. So unless I get a New 3DS, I think Cubic Ninja is not worth keeping.

Theres ctr-httpwn but i'm sure you have heard of that since your on emu nand.

Other than that no, unless someone else for whatever reason needs to borrow it :P.

It might also be good if you plan on updating your cfw or need to acsess homebrew.

It sounds like there is a free primary coming.

I really don't see the point, smealum's obsession with continuing to support it aside.

I just wanted to play the damn game and didn't rush to get it since it was dirt-cheap, then it got announced as an entry point for homebrew and I tried to get one so I could play the game but was too late.

I should have just bought it when I had the chance. Oh well. And it seems that it's not even a great game after all. Bleh.

I'd keep it. It's a good part of gaming history. I still have my passme device that you had to put a nds cart into it that had same save game size as one wanted to play on slot 2 Flashcart. Oh my precious antiques how I love you even though ur dusty and useless

I'd keep Cubic Ninja because I'm a bit sentimental and it's the daddy of this whole scene - and perhaps similarly to some I don't need to keep OOT or Freaky Forms Deluxe (x 2) but I cant seem to part with them either. On my userland unit I still use Ironhax over Soundhax and use Menuhax to install themes.

I thinks exploit games might lend themselves more to digital hoarding because they have added utility. Fair play to anyone who can cut the irrational attachment and pass on what they don't need. I'll get there at some point, I hope.

Probably not, but I'm keeping mine, it's like the swiss army knife of homebrew entrypoints, works on pretty much any firmware, and the only way to launch .3dsx homebrew on firmwares below 9.0.

I got my Dad a firestick for Xmas and showed him those 3rd party sites on Kodi, he loves it, all he watches anymore. He said he has got 3 letters from AT&T already about pirating, but he says f them, let them shut my internet off (He wants out of his AT&T contract anyways)
