What date under the bar code? You guys saw CUH-2015B or CUH-2016A and thought they were made in 2015 and 2016? Hahahaha. Then the "CUH-7015B" from above means it's from the year 7015, right? lol

The "A" stands for 500GB, "B" stands for 1TB version. Rest of them are just hardware revisions.

Pretty sure that the last number is the region. From the PSP days, 4 should stand for Europe, 5 from UK, 6 People's Republic of China. 1 is US, and 0 is Japan. So "CUH-2015B", means it's a Slim (2000), from UK (the "5"), with a 1TB HDD ("B").

The video is 11 month old and in all germany ps4 pro has this packing.
it will be with me until fri-saturdy.

Firmware 4.06 was released nov/16. I just bought a PS4 from a small retail store that had it in display since April/17 and it was 3.70. But I know of some people who bought their ps4 from Amazon around the same date and it was 4.07. So your luck depends on how quickly the retailer moves its stock.

We all knew that. Some regions do have dates (mainly Asia), some with 2 digits date code within a rectangular box (mainly EU), and some just don’t. It’s all listed in the psdevwiki.

can you say more about eu sticker, in what code are those 2 digits? also can you post a picture of eu sticker, i typed in google ps4 box barcode and there are few stickers but i think that those are us stickers..

Just purchased a CUH-2016A white slim 500GB from ebay. Should be on 3.55. Will report back with details when the item arrives tomorrow.

Just received the PS4. It was on 4.01. Happy Days!!!!

Correction: the date code is 6B and its CUH-2016A

Be aware that this bundle comes with different versions because a friend of mine bought one today CUH-2116A with date code 7B and it came with 4.55 fw

My pro came with 3.70. I bought it from Amazon on 12-16-2016

On the outside box it says CUH-7015B

Also:
The Metal gear solid Japanese ps4 & Call of Duty Black Ops ps4 bundles came on 2.60 I believe.
And my gold slim came with 4.50 and I pre-ordered it. I hope qwerty releases his 5.0 kexploit otherwise I will have no use for it.
And the white destiny 1 bundle came with 1.76

Nobody is able to really decode all these different types of label and to associate them to a precise FW
