I was getting annoyed at ftpd 2.2.0 exiting to homemenu and not homebrew launcher.
so I recompiled it and seems newer ctrulib was all that was needed?

binary at github since I figured other can find it that way, it's also a good host outside of gbatemp!
https://github.com/GizmoTheGreen/ftpd/releases/tag/v2.2-refresh

no changes, just fork and compile.

Would you be willing to compile a cia version? I am hoping that a new ctrulib will make it so it doesn't slow down after a while from ~1MB to less than 100k and stay that way until the 3ds is rebooted like the current cia version does.

wrong section of the forums, you are looking for the homebrew section https://gbatemp.net/forums/3ds-homebrew-development-and-emulators.275/

damnit. of course I missed something. I'll count on a mod to move it...

not sure if it'll make any difference but I've made one, will add to release page on github

I noted that on your github the .cia version is considered "untested", so I did a quick n dirty test by sending over the Super Turrican soundtrack in mp3 form (which is about 90MB). Seems stable, and I hit transfer rate spikes of above 1.2MB/second occasionally, according to filezilla. All in all, not bad for now.

Hey, I did some followup on testing the cia on longer / bigger transfers. FTP'd a SegaCD image (bin/cue) to the device resulting in a full 513MB transferred in just over 7 minutes. FileZilla reported speeds hovering around the 900kb/s -- 1015kb/s, giving an average of 1MB transfer rate. This is on an O3ds, btw.

I figured the issue with it slowing down after multiple large transfers was an issue with the filesystem code or some other kind of leak, why else would it start out at 1-1.2MB and then decrease to around 100k with constant pauses and stay that way until you reboot the 3ds.
