This may be a bit of a dumb question, so bear with me. Is it possible to use this with BootNTR on an O3DS?
No, you have to use the Luma Plugin Loader version of Luma3DS from Nanquitas for this plugin to work on o3DS.This may be a bit of a dumb question, so bear with me. Is it possible to use this with BootNTR on an O3DS?
While you may be able to use other plugins like this with O3DS, this plugin specifically only works with N3DS.

that's easy enough to do via PKHex. no need for a code herethis is all cool and all but no complete pokedex? that just seems like a no brainer I'm surprised to not see it here

'Obvious' or not, its ridiculously easy to do even if you simply find someone with a computer willing to edit your save for you. PkHax is also a thing for those without PkHex access (lets you edit directly on your 3DS).[That] doesn't change the fact that [it] is silly not to have something so obvious in it.
Please don't assume the majority feels the way you do just because they 'should'. That is the very cancer of practically every internet argument to date and is not a valid point regardless of whether it'd be true or not.Heck, I [bet] some people [would] only get this for that alone if it was there.
Its not out of the way. Its more out of the way for the OP to add this than it is for you to even resort to begging other people to edit your save for you. The plugin's source code is so conveniently posted on Github. If you bothered to learn how to make plugins you could make your own code and then supply it to be added (it isn't hard. really. the C programing languages are effectively as close to English as 'Text talk'. To do this you'd simply 'fork' to make your own copy, edit to add the code, the 'pull request' to ask for it to be added into the original file). But yes, of course. I know. That wouldn't be very "convenient". Heaven forbid actual effort be exerted >.>The point of this is to make the games more convenient (and [for me], [personally], more fun). If I have to go out of my way to do what [you] just said, that isn't really being conveniently helpful, now is it? Lol.
There is no "constantly" for this. Use PkHax or a ONE TIME EDIT on PkHex (with a handy and convenient button for it)Not to mention people like me don't like using that [kind of] thing since it requires a computer constantly to do things - something I don't have the leisure of compared to maybe [you].
You really like that word, dont you (or rather the concept of convenience). While I have no other basis for this than your post here, I feel sorry for any and all employers [past, present, and future] you could conceivably convince to hire you - should this reflect your views when not gaming. Sadly, it is accurate for so many that its not too much of a stretch to fear it might here as well.Again very inconvenient.

Punctuationand spelling/word/word ordercorrections added so that train-wreck of a post is readableand people will know what I'm replying to.
Broken down by sentence for ease of separating ideas.

The point is NOT to make things more convenient. The point is to make the games do things they were not intended to do (be that cheating, removing the grind, or something in between.) The OP is making this because he wants to (probably...)

and no, I'm not upset or riled. I'm tired so I got long-winded, as is my norm (it helps me wind down at night after work, thank you very much). That is all. Thank you and goodnight.

I gotta point out that all those things are consumable, while the Pokedex is a one time thing. I feel like it makes more sense to modify the save file, Pokedex included, with PKHex. Keep consumables and in game toggle-able things together in one tool and one time or infrequently changed save file edits in the existing tool that everyone knows and uses. You know what else is easy enough to do via PKHex?

All of which are already in the cheat. There's probably more things since I have yet to actually use PKHex with ultra SuMo, so I'm not sure what other features it has. Feli's request seems perfectly reasonably to me.
To add to otaku's point, many of those are simple address writes (usually a series of identical writes with a set increase to the next item/etc. and/or increasing the value written by a set amount when moving to the next entry). Completing the pokedex requires a more complex series of writes (depending on how many features you intend to toggle, up to and including shininess, gendered/alternate forms, etc.). While its not the case here, occasionally unreleased species can get you a [temporary?] ban if in your pokedex (as happened to people who cheated in Genesect back in gen 5).You know what else is easy enough to do via PKHex?

It's mainly this. Between the different forms, genders, and shiny status, completing the Pokédex isn't light coding. The best I would be able to do is have a "Caught All" cheat that would memory patch your save with no configurable options. I can certainly consider it but it's definitely not on the top of my priority list.To add to otaku's point, many of those are simple address writes. As for the specific case above, its not what he's asking - its how he'saskingdemanding, as if the OP is obligated to do so (I've been/am a content creator myself, ans such is the cancer of threads like this. The problem isnt so much the demands as it is the refusal to listen to reason, especially when the request has been declined previously for the same reasons). In any case, I dont plan to police the thread or anything. I offer the reason why it likely wont be added and give them existing, reasonable alternatives. If they refuse to use the alternatives thats their own tough luck.
