Installing via a disc image will not work; they're almost definitely designed to boot from a Macintosh New World bootloader, and linux-loader is a completely different beast. Until a better installation method is developed, you'll have to manually set up your SD card with fw.img (linux-loader) and dtbImage.wiiu (the kernel) and create a rootfs on a USB drive using something like debootstrap.

wrote the image to a usb stick, placed the dtbImage.wiiu file in the Linux directory, placed fw.img in the root of the sd.. and nothing. just crashes back to hbc when launching cfw booter.
help?

CFW Booter and the Homebrew Launcher have been known to be buggy in certain configurations. Booting fw.img directly from Haxchi is generally more reliable.

ok now it's actually working, no gui even though i saw in other's pictures that there is a gui..
The gui stuff needs to be installed via apt-get, try apt-get install xorg, apt-get install lightdm and apt-get install lxde.
I recommend use apt-get update first.

Edit: Also give a search to android tethering to have Internet conection

all gives me errors; tried to do apt-get update, error (some index files failed to download), trying to install xorg alerts me about taking space for the program i click y and then millions of errors of failed to fetch x, lightdm same thing, lxde same thing..
