both giving me errors; tried to do apt-get update, error (some index files failed to download), trying to install xorg alerts me about taking space for the program i click y and then millions of errors of failed to fetch x, lightdm same thing, lxde same thing..

you need thether your internet from bluetooth to work or use a usb network adapter

i don't have any gui yet but i knew i would need a mouse when i'll install a gui so i tested an adapter from the back ports which has 3 usb outs, and it works, so that kinda sloves the issue of not having a mouse

wifi is not working, if you don't have ethernet adapter you can use usb tethering from phone.

Once you enable usb tether type: "dhclient usb0" on wiiulinux, from there install some gui "apt install lxde lightdm".

wifi is not enabled yet, so no wifi support even with gui, but you can tether from your phone using bluetooth instead, just download a bluetooth manager.

Once you install your gui I recomend install "apt install synaptic" a package manager, it's similar to an app store :)

@Loller06: the USB doesn't have to be in any particular port, as long as it's in one of the back two. It can even be in a hub if you want.

@LasPingas: sounds like you don't have an Internet connection. Either get Bluetooth tethering working (I'm not an expert on this, but it should be similar to most other Linux systems) or use a USB-Ethernet adapter (the latest kernel should have support for most of them compiled right in).

EDIT: @Gunstorm (sorry, missed your comment at first): right now, this is firmly a work-in-progress. We're focusing on getting things functional before making them fully end-user ready.
