Nintendo files new trademarks for Mario Party, Punch Out, and more

iqqal2p.png

Back last month, we saw some trademark documents from Nintendo, regarding some of the games that they revealed during their last Nintendo Direct. These were trademarks such as for the 3DS port of Luigi's Mansion, Smash Bros., and interestingly, Wario Land. This week also saw Nintendo and Game Freak register a trademark for Ultra Shiny, covering a large amount of different topics like merchandise, games, and TV.

Today, the blog site "Japanese Nintendo" found that Nintendo registered some more trademarks, this time relating to multiple Nintendo franchises. Video game trademarks were filed for Mario Tennis, Paper Mario, Dr. Mario, Mario Party, and Punch Out were all filed on the 24th of April. Trademarks never mean anything certain, but it does give us a look into things Nintendo may be planning or wanting to develop, especially for the Nintendo Switch.

Well, Color Splash was more on the lines of "close but still no cigar", but yeah, they better not %#@& it up this time. They failed to deliver twice, and if they fail it a third time...

New Paper Mario... I'm scared.
It is either a new paper mario game or a remaster of the first two ones... but just dont expect the new one to follow the formula of the first three, since intelligent systems already stated that they wont go back to that formula on newer games.
