Steam accidentally leaks Just Cause 4

In perhaps what could be considered to be a record-setting amount of leaked announcements, Just Cause 4 reaffirms its existence after the Walmart Canada upcoming games leak. Steam mistakenly has allowed an ad for the game to slip through before it could be officially confirmed next week. For those that logged into Steam during the timeframe it was up, an advertisement and snippet of artwork for the game was shown, though clicking it only redirected users to the Steam front page. We're highly likely to see gameplay and an official reveal during E3.

Is this "Leak" Epidemic on purpose or something? It just seem unnecessary that leaks exist in the first place, and that E3 is very soon. If it was a mistake that's fine but I think %80 of them are on purpose. :ninja:

If your game gets shown at E3, it's just another game in a list of many, likely to be outclassed by major IPs.

...when it leaks prior to E3 when every news outlet is at its most excited and raring to go, your game gets to be the biggest news of the night for a brief moment. It makes sense. Cheapens the event, but makes sense.

But the event is the entire point of presenting new stuff, and everything will get brief moments of excitement depending on how much people like it. It just doesn't make much sense to have a event and then "waste ammo" they should be using at the "battleground" (metaphorically if this was actually a competition)

At this point Walmart just should begin to publish there own gaming magazin and write all they know into it. This way at least they get some money out of it
Seriously what's going on? Is there somekind of secret video game leak competition between the Walmart employees?

Do you remind E3 2018? - That one where we knew everything before it began due to mass leaking? - Yes, exactly that one.

Edit: Funny that this thread isn't about the actual news at all. Every single posts above only is about the leak situation
