Nintendo has released a brand new trailer for Pokemon Let's Go. In it, we can see some new features, mechanics, and details for the game. Some of these additions include a new design for Blue/Gary, now called a "friendly" rival. Players can also dress up their character with different clothes, and can alter the hairstyle of their Pikachu and Eevee. You can traverse the world by riding large Pokemon, such as Charizard, Onix, and Arcanine. When your Pokemon follow you ala HGSS, they can also find items in the overworld for you. Pokemon Let's Go launches on November 16.

Official promotional art and a new Kanto world map were also released, which you can see below.

You're just super prudish apparently. Tank tops aren't even new, pre-teens and teens were wearing them back as far as my elementary days. God forbid you go out in the world and see a girl under 18 wearing a skirt.

You're pretending like Pokemon is the first anime/game to feature pre-teen or teen characters. On top of that, you're pretending like a tank top is equivalent to wearing only pasties and a thong. It's just a really weird issue to take offense at in particular, especially since Misty's trademark outfit has been around as long as the Pokemon IP has.

If you ever win the "cover up the bellies and armpits" battle with Pokemon, you've got about a million other brands, games, and shows to fight that battle with next.

That's entirely my point. There are games in which the female characters of all ages do wear next to nothing like that, but you're complaining about tank tops in a game the ESRB couldn't find any reason to rate higher than E.

Whether I'm "okay" with it or not is irrelevant, games and anime like that exist regardless of my opinions on them. The point is that if you're going to take issue with the sexualization of young fictional characters, Pokemon is just about the least blatant offender on a long list of all forms of media.

If you really want to hear my opinion, I'm not into "chibi" anime, I like action stuff. Not that nude characters don't sometimes appear in what I watch, but they're seemingly over 18 (to the extent that an anime character's age can be judged).
