Based on various posts, it sounds like ReiNX is approximately 100% completed on versions 4.0.0 and higher, but it's not going to be released until it's at least working on 3.0.0.

The life span of the console and/or the battery may be drastically reduce. The fans may have a lower life span. There is so many things that can go wrong besides burning your hand

The vita doesn't hit the processing power that the switch does. I don't expect battery issues, bar only getting about 5 seconds of play out of it, but it could potentially hurt it at the same time due to heat.
