Gaming I have a very old laptop, is there something useful to do with it?

Tell me, how dusty and how many cobwebs around it were there when you pulled that thing out? Cus that thing is OOOOOLD. Belongs in a museum OOOOOOLD.

I'd be tempted to clean install Windows 98 and set it up with Office 97 and other software and games from the 90's. That would be a good bit of nostalgia.

The only use I can see for it is running retro PC games. It won't run anything remotely modern (OS or software), it just has too little RAM. Even something like Puppy Linux probably wouldn't run, or even if it ran, only barely.

Haha honestly if it still worked I would have suggested that. The Final version of MSN is still better than Skype is today.

ICQ still works though, I figured out I could still sign in to my account from the late 90's.

Dug out my Inspiron 11. It’s got a 4:3 monitor. PERFECT! Streets of rage remake and beats of rage look great!

That machine will be good for Dos gaming and early win 9x games ( due the low video memory).
I said find the drivers for win 95 and have some fun.

If you were looking for something more useful, then no.

I sometimes use my 9 year old laptop with a hdmi cable to play older stuff on my tv. Not ideal but it is cheap.
