Before you say anything like why not buy it. I don't have enough money in my life and I am pretty much poor money. Being deaf is not easy life. So bear with me. If you don't believe me, then I won't argue with you because I will simply ignore you.

I know Dead Cells are in Steam but I don't use it very often because most games use most powerful video graphic. My computer is not that powerful like pc gamer does. No offense. After I installed with cracked and open it up the game, there are two error message but I already solve of them but one are not. I have hard time to find solve the problem. "Failing to load library steam.hdll." Um....it already in folder....So....Why it won't work while I already have steam.hdll? I tried download Chasm and it work fine.

search for the crack only, re download it, and place it in the games folder again. You could have had a corrupt file that was downloaded. Jayro, just because we're not allowed to link to places, does not mean we can't offer support on how to apply the crack correctly..

I’m of the opinion that if you can’t follow the instructions provided with a crack, that’s God’s way of saying you shouldn’t be pirating this game.

Cracks come with inherent risks (fake cracks, cracks full of malware, etc) so be careful where you get them from.

There’s also the argument to be made that if you can’t afford to play the latest games, wait until it goes on sale. There are a bajillion other games you could be playing instead (many are free or old enough for major discounts).

LOL no one is judging your personal problems. XD And no one needs to know why you want to pirate a game or make a backup, etc. It's no one's business but yours.

That moment when you realise that the OP raised another thread for the same issue a month later - struggling to get a pirated game to work.

It may be bumping an old thread, but it’s actually still relevant!

Wow, WTF.... Well. Can't blame him for trying to fix something he still has failed to so. XD LOL
I do indeed feel, though, trying to work a crack out for a game has absolutely nothing to do with GBATemp and shouldn't be here. He should go contact the one that owns the crack. (Programmers really make themselves known in that industry. Their "Team" at least.) And their are many cracks for the same game by different people, which one is he talking about? This post is quite a bit... Silly... XD

Yes I am. I can hear some without hear-aids. But only I can hear loud music in earphone. I usually wear hear-aids to hear anything. I dont like without hear-aids because every time I hear something loud or people's voice, it scare me easily because I can't make it out. So that why I can hear some when I wear hear-aids too much.

There is a gog version of Dead Cells out there. If you can't get the crack to work, that's another option. Otherwise I think the game is worth buying if you ever get your finances in orser.

@bradzx you still looking for a solution for dead cells? or you figured it out?
Well I am not worrying about that on my computer. I will wait until they upload new update. Or buy it on Xbox One.

They have Gog version? If does, them it shouldn't use crack version.

We have no idea which site you use (and this certainly IS against the rules to discuss or even mention), so we can't answer that question. You really have to look for a no-DRM version youreself. There is such a version out there (at the very least at the GoG.com store, but obviously not for free), so that should work better than all sorts of shenanigans with cracks.

@Jayro, I don't see whats so special about the DS ML, its just a DS lite in a phat shell. At least the phat model had louder speakers, whereas the lite has a much better screen.

They probably said "Hey, why not we combine the two together and make a 'new' DS to sell".

It's a DS Lite in a slightly bigger DS Lite shell.

@SylverReZ if you could find a v5 DS ML you would have the best of both worlds since the v5 units had the same backlight brightness levels as the DS Lite unlockable with flashme

    but that's a long shot

i think only the red mario kart edition phat was v5
  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
A woman with no arms and no legs was sitting on a beach. A man comes along and the woman says, "I've never been hugged before." So the man feels bad and hugs her. She says "Well i've also never been kissed before." So he gives her a kiss on the cheek. She says "Well I've also never been fucked before." So the man picks her up, and throws her in the ocean and says "Now you're fucked."

anyways, we need to re-normalize physical media

if i didn't want my games to be permanent, then i'd rent them

  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
Agreed, that why I try to buy all my games on disc, Xbox anyways. Switch games (which I pirate tbh) don't matter much, I stay offline 24/7 anyways.
  • AncientBoi @ AncientBoi:
    I don't pirate them, I Use Them :mellow:. Like I do @BigOnYa 's couch :tpi::evil::rofl2:

  • cearp @ cearp:
@BakerMan - you can still "own" digital media, arguably easier and better than physical since you can make copies and backups, as much as you like.

    The issue is DRM
  • cearp @ cearp:
You can buy drm free games / music / ebooks, and if you keep backups of your data (like documents and family photos etc), then you shouldn't lose the game. but with a disk, your toddler could put it in the toaster and there goes your $60

    :rofl2:
  • cearp @ cearp:
still, I agree physical media is nice to have. just pointing out the issue is drm
  • rqkaiju2 @ rqkaiju2:
i like physical media because it actually feels like you own it. thats why i plan on burning music to cds
