Pack it up, that's it for the franchise. I'm happy it's getting a translation, but dang, it's almost pointless when it's not XSEED who'll be keeping on its legacy. The meticulous effort they put into this series' translations was astounding. NISA doesn't inspire that same confidence, with a fairly awkward track record in terms of translations.
As I said elsewhere, this is due mainly due Xseeds inability to have a quick turn around for translations and releases. Falcom has product and it wants a profit on that product in quick order (meaning if quality is less than perfect they'll deal with it) Point is Xseed lost (and is loosing) all Falcom properties to NISA because they can't get the games out quick enough. (See the Zero/Crossbell games)
It's a business decision by Falcom plain and simple, anyone not seeing this is being blind to the facts of the matter (not you, just in general)
NISA is here to stay, fans just need to deal with it, or learn to read Japanese, simple enough, if they don't like the alternative presented to them.
I am happy overall that we're getting them, but I also wish we'd get something regarding an official release of the Crossbell games.
We would have them, but that's why Xseed isn't localizing them anymore, they couldn't keep the pace up, they should have expanded the localization team if they wanted to keep one of their higher profile developers happy.
I find it strange how people are complaining about NISA (rightfully so), yet people here are giving XSeed a pass when they're notorious for incorrect translations and injecting memes into their games. Both Cold Steel and Senran Kagura got butchered in the localization process.
I find it funny period, no localization company is perfect, but I've never been disgusted or had anything bad to say about any NISA game I've played, so I don't understand the outrage over absolutely nothing from the community over a whole lot of nothing...
As much as I'd LOVE to see the Vita versions get released (as they are superior to the PSP versions) the best we can expect is PC versions, unless they can convince Falcom or hire someone to port it to PS4.
And this comes back to what I said about Xseed loosing the license for this (and their other Falcom games) Falcom has a product they want to sell and Xseed missed the boat for a timely release (those game COULD HAVE been released while the Vita was still a viable platform) but they didn't want to release the newer series until they were done with Trails in the Sky, as we see Falcom was not happy with that result and took their partnership elsewhere.
End of story.
