Hacking Does the 2018 Hori Battle Pad for Switch work with Wii console on nintendont?

i know that the 2014 Wii-U HORI battlepad works with wii on nintendont, but what about the 2018 HORI battlepad for switch?

if you plug the 2018 SWITCH hori battlepad into the usb port of the Wii, will it work with gamecube games using nintendont?

Use the Wii U version for the switch one you need to do config stuff. The Wii U one is 100% guaranteed to work but the switch one may or may not work
