There is a new update to the game that is available through the “mystery gift” option within the game. I had to do this to be able to encounter GMax Snorlax in my unmodded Switch. However, now I can’t do local raids between a modded and an unmodded Switch. The modded Switch is unable to see when the unmodded Switch “invite others” is activated. Could an update be injected into the XCI or NSP to fix that? Or will an NSP update be necessary?

I think it's to put us in this exact situation. This is just kind of annoying, I know PKHEX is a thing but doing local raids with friends and family was fun. I hope someone figures out how the update works and how we can do it to our CFW switches, more GMax pokemon will come in the future and my CFW switch will continue to be left behind.

I went to auction at a mom/pops video game store few months ago that was closing, and bought 11 slims for $200, 1 was DOA but 10 work fine. so hella deal. Already rgh3'ed 8 of them. But most younger kids don't even want anymore, unless it plays stupid "fortnight", or newer shit. -
