I managed to find some values for Journey to the Savage Planet, (they mostly use FLOAT) but they are all looking like multipointers, and unfortunately Noexs cannot get a complete dump due to the size of it's HEAP.

Noex has a really difficult time with this game, often giving errors for certain sections of HEAP, not properly identifying MAIN, or not being able to search through the massive HEAP. It makes it impossible to properly collect a dump to use in pointer searcher.

Any ideas?

Would anyone be willing to help me with finding an making cheats for enter the gungeon. The only cheat file i can find online for it does not work and causes the game to crash randomly. I'm currently running atmosphere and i have everything setup to run noexs. I'm able to connect and attach to the switch with the game running. I'm trying to make a no reload for one of the starter weapons. The problem im running into is trying to find the pointer. I have expanded the offset a few times and found 53 diff lines. I converted then all over using the code builder and none of them have an effect in the game. I know the address for the reload is working cause i can see it change in the watcher.

Yep I was testing, after I jump off the cliff none of the codes work :hateit:
One thing I didnt try was to see if each level had it's own life address. There were some games back in the n64 and gamecube scene that had them like that. If you do a unknown search, then do less and greater than, you will see that there are addresses that use 40800000 and 00000004 as well. I have literally tried in vain for the health. Now lives I did find and I think patjenova found the same pointers for his codes as well. The health is just a big pain in the butt.
This was made by dablackdeath using IDA

Just as this says. You cant damage enemies. The function for Spyro hit detection might be in there but I have no idea on IDA

--------------------- MERGED ---------------------------

How can i use the cheat for studs ? holding L + A dont work, do I have to be an specific place/mission to work ?
@patjenova maybe can awnser this too
That code should only work in chronopolis if I'm not mistaken. Cant remember if you had to buy something to get it to work. If it's still giving you problems after trying that, I can redo it again.

Right now I did a search unknown and have one address with c at the end 40000000 , Hope is the right pointer.

If this doesnt work. Try to do health searches for each individual level. See if that may pop up the correct addresses and pointers.
Getting a second dump, too many results
What a pain four dumps and each have a mistake :P
(Will continue tomorrow, need to sleep.)

@K3Nv2, gonna make a jumping sprite
  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
You can add platform character behavior to any sprite, just disable the default controls for it, and make it jump/move in your code. The rectangle behavior is cool too for enemies.

    @BigOnYa, how is it cool?
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
@BigOnYa, and i meant jumping sprite for the player
  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
It makes it move around constantly in different directions, like a enemy moving back n forth from one side to other
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
@BigOnYa, and i dont think the rectangular movement behavior works for platform games
  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
Yea it does. And you can add platform character behavior to your own charcter, and it will have move and jump already setup for you, space bar is jump, arrows move
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
@BigOnYa, i already added the platform character behaviour to the player since i started doing this
