But you can't know before hand what is the name of the .prx files of all games that exist.
Each time a .prx file failed to recognized by the app you need to add it.
To me it seems a lot of frustration for you.

surely there isnt that many? its only the modules for games... these prob all use the same ones... maybe there is already a list of them?

Sysmodule libraries.
I don't know if we want them.
well those sprx files are not on the game ive been testing this with so would guess they not always used for games... also we dont have online so a lot of stuff is online (net, voice, playgo etc)

If you see again in the backporting instructions you will read this:
Some modules are also linked with others modules
Again at bottom

So i don't see any Bink2PS4.prx in the psdevwiki list.
So i bet there are more filenames.

good point... well i dont know of a way to do it auto as the UnfSelf app doesnt supoort it :(

Anyway... I don't know and i don't understand anything of this things because i am not a developer or a scene involved guy.
I just use my logic right now.

@RiPPERD here is a list of some of the possible .prx files. Note: these are all from older firmware games but figured it would help. most of the ones i checked only had the two that you originally added but a few had more.

I still got a pkg but I will not be able to test it until wednesday bacause my controller broke and the new one is arriving on wednesday

Hi!

This tool is able to backport for under 5.05? If not will be an awesome addition since there are people in 4.74 no BD that prefer not to update since there is brick risk and also they can potentially brick in the case of losing the HDD/backup.

I know that the method you use is able to backport to under 5.05 cause I did this long time ago backporting 5.05 games to 4.74, so if possible the option to use 4.55 fix/modules would be really great!

(Also backporting under 5.05 will function as normal for 5.05 users, I dont see why this shouldnt be the default)

possibly yeah, some files may not be found in some games... please check that the files have changed with ps4 pkg viewer if you have any doubts

i dont see why you couldnt backport further but you would need to change the 5.05 code to 4.XX ill be honest i dont know the answer to this question sorry


thanks for this ill look into it... also with v2.0 i added the make_fself.py file... i also found an exe of this yday maybe this works better?

ive kind of followed 3 guides through this process and combined them and only had 1 game to test it so other games / users may have some issues which ill fix ... like other prx files for example
