in my experience, 6.72 really isn't that unstable or hard to get working.
it worked first time for me, rest mode worked etc... so much easier to update and try a few times rather than 'worry' about backporting.

I wouldn't even mind if it took a couple times to get working.. but I've heard there can be random crashing many hours after it seems to be working fine so that is putting me off from updating.

I heard Control has like 25+ PRX’s that need individually backporting and it’s still has issues. Anyone else looking into this game?

Hi all, just a quick question, we can backport games to work for 5.05, what about games updates, take for instance Need for Speed Heat, there's a fix to work for 5.05, but latest game patch which is version: 01.07, requires firmware 7.50 to work, can patches be backported as well, to have fully updated games with all bugs fixed?

Thanks

yes, I've successfully backported a patch even with a fake patch.

Eventhough the New 3DS XL is more powerful, I still feel like the DS Lite was a more polished system. It's a real shame that it never got an XL variant keeping the GBA slot. You'd have to go on AliExpress and buy an ML shell to give a DS phat the unofficial "DS Lite" treatment, and that's the best we'll ever get I'm afraid.

The phat model had amazingly loud speakers tho.

@Jayro, I don't see whats so special about the DS ML, its just a DS lite in a phat shell. At least the phat model had louder speakers, whereas the lite has a much better screen.

They probably said "Hey, why not we combine the two together and make a 'new' DS to sell".
  • Veho @ Veho:
It's a DS Lite in a slightly bigger DS Lite shell.

    It's not a Nintendo / iQue official product, it's a 3rd party custom.

Nothing special about it other than it's more comfortable than the Lite
    for people with beefy hands.
