I keep telling him that he just sucks at it and that Mario Party 2 tops all of the other Mario Party games.

Beyond that, I haven't really played too many Mario Party games. I did play the Switch one a bit with my wife, but it feels like it has so little content so it just wasn't really that fun after a couple hours.

Mario Party 8 is underrated and overhated. Yeah the minigames aren't great but it has a feel and charm that one other MP game has.
