5.05 and installed gentoo on ps4 pro 7116b, its a really crappy slow experience not even the sound on youtube works properly and screen is pixelated since i have a 4k monitor and psxita never worked for me, is is there a way to fix these problems? Or perhaps another linux.. also none of the payloads in phoar 1.4 ever booted gentoo.
Emulation for gamecube i believe is way better on my intel hd 4000.

Try the Kernel 5.3.7 Gentoo gc41cdf12d-dirty found here: https://gbatemp.net/threads/working-bailkal-linux-kernels-for-ps4pros-on-6-72-and-distros.572063/ Its the only one that worked on my PS4pro. Worked with gentoo and Catjaro PS4Linux. Manjaro 20.0.2 (Lysia). Tha manjaro is the most complete experience to my taste. Cheers

Unless you know what you are doing, don't change or update the video drivers. The newest versions probably aren't compatible with PS4 Linux.

Is internal linux (gentoo) installation worth doing on 5.05 CUH-1115a? Has anybody gotten it to work well?

But any desktop OS, I've never had anything but frustration trying to get Bluetooth devices to work reliably and stable. It might pair and connect once, and then next time I go to use it I have to delete and re-pair it again

Ran a driver update in device manager?
  • Sicklyboy @ Sicklyboy:
Not recently but I think it's less a driver issue and more just Windows having a garbage Bluetooth stack
  • K3Nv2 @ K3Nv2:
Could be I was having issues when I first upgraded it and didn't realiser gigabyte has specific driver revisions which is stupid

Which is married to the boards revision

ive never had luck with built in bt transmitters. They're always in the back of the pc and signal is super crummy vs a usb bt dongle in the front of the pc,
