Nintendo announced on Twitter today that a new character will be revealed for Super Smash Bros. Ultimate tomorrow at 7am PT/10am ET. The video presentation will only be three minutes long, and will then be followed by a short message from Smash Bros. director Masahiro Sakurai.

I actually like that idea. No way in hell it'll happen though. Then again, Nintendo and NIS have been quite close as of lately, and Disgaea 6 is releasing exclusively on the Switch in the West, so maybe?

Yet another Fire Emblem character.
Some first party Nintendo character that is a deep cut, like Baloonfight man, or maybe Paper Mario.
Maybe a Squeenix character awoken from the dead: Duran. From Seiken Densetsu 3 / Trials of Mana.

My wish will never come true, since they made Goemon into a Mii costume T_T
