Wich is the tool?

The animal crossing new horizons transfer tool. It's in the eshop (free download) and available where NSPs can be obtained otherwise. Just to further clarify, you need to have two switches, even if the 2nd is just temporary. You need to move the island via the tool from the source to the 2nd switch and then back from the 2nd switch to the final destination. This is how I moved my island from CFW emmunand to sysnand.

--------------------- MERGED ---------------------------

do I have to connect both Switches to the internet for that?

I have to do it with the regular way of save transfer, but this is different, so if you knew that’d be neat to know

Both means, animal crossing new horizons transfer tool & the "- Settings menu on title screen" work via local -- no internet required. This is much better than the regular Nintendo switch that you would transfer nintendo profile accounts between devices (which requires linked nintendo accounts, both switches to be on the latest firmware and be connected to the internet, etc). This tool, strictly for animal crossing, bypasses all these requirements and make the transfer very simple and quick.

that’s great - thanks for your reply :) I hope it stays local like that in the future also. I was so bummed out when I wanted to transfer a save I had edited from another game between my (forever offline) hack-Switch and my legit-Switch, and realized that wouldn’t work :toot:

First time I used this tool for ACNH and I thought why don't they have a same tool that works for any game.

Hello there, just a quick message to let you guys know i'm still not banned from editing my save.

I even used cheats on CFW SYS , but never been online while doing it, and i'm still not banned.

I had my map completely modified with NHSE, moving building, changing my plane color and shit.

Sorry if this isn't the right place to ask. My current setup is ACNH on one CFW switch, and I'm planning to buy the game on a separate OFW-only switch (AKA, there's nothing on it right now.) I'm reading through dmdsoftware's post right now about using the official Island Transfer Tool, and I'm still wondering if there's a risk of being banned if I transfer a save that has been tampered with already through NHSE; as I assume clean saves would be fine.

I have never heard of ban in ACNH, never ever

I did a lot of edit with NHSE, giving me furnitures and mimic, also modifying my island layout, editing the color of my plane, and i'm not ban.

So it seems no one is getting banned from what I'm seeing skimming through the thread, huh?
I have a clean unhackable switch with my AC save on and I want to transfer it to my hacked switch in order to change the location of my Resident Center/Plaza. Not sure why they don't just let you move them and the airport just like every other building.

Can I possibly get ban if I used my cousin’s banned switch to transfer plenty of NMTs on my island? I’m planning to fill half of my storage with NMTs for hunting villagers in the future.

    Only Xbox I don't have is the OG, and One X model specifically, I regret giving my chipped OG model to one of my kids years ago, after later hearing he sold it to pawn shop, damn kids!

    I just recently picked up a n64 from a garage sell, and looking to mod it and add a HDMI port to it. https://www.ebay.com/itm/3548173115...044&customid=4f3038da73b61afddf7e5e90f4153856

    I'd like to find a power strip and HDMI selector built in 1 unit, so I can select which game system I want, and will switch to that hdmi, and power on that plug/power supply only, so don't have all game systems powered all the time, but can't find anything like. May just have to make something myself.

    Maybe start a kick starter page and sell them, yea right. Big N would prob C&D me, not anything Big N related, but just because that's what they do nowdays. Then come out with they own in a year or so.

    @Xdqwerty, Nice. Which operating system are you installing?
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
    @SylverReZ, windows 10 and some linux distro like linux mint
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
    dualbooth
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
    @Xdqwerty, Yeah, I'd recommend having another OS just in-case you want to play games.

    At least Linux doesn't contain spyware than what Windows has.
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
    @SylverReZ, cuz of lag?
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
    @Xdqwerty, No. Whenever you use the internet on Windows, Microsoft collects personal data and installs bloatware that isn't necessarily needed, such as Edge.

    @SylverReZ,
    I recall @impeeza mentioned some trick about not having bloatware when installing windows where you set up your country to "world" or smh like that

  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
    Yes, you can debloat the operating system, but in some cases for me it just reinstalls them.

    I also recall my brother downloded a "non bloated" version of windows 11 on his pc

  • impeeza @ impeeza:
    @Xdqwerty yes, when you are installing Windows on the first steps you are asked for your current location, you MUST to select «international» so no bloatware is installed, because the bloatware is location based. if this night I have some time I will setup a VM and take screenshots.
