Here's a conversation I had with someone who owns appartments, I'd like to rent one
I write him a nice message, where i ask if the appartment listed is still available
I also precise that, even if it is written "animals forbidden" I try just in case (here, lot of appartment renter say animal forbidden when actually only dogs are forbidden)
And the reply I got is trash...

"Contact us when your cat is dead"

How can you be more professional then that?
OMFG F*CKER!!!

Seriously If the agreement is no animals it means no animals, they won't change it because you asked
True enough but that shouldn't warrant that kind of response, they could've also just said "no, as per our terms" or something.
OP also does have a point that quite often pets are allowed if you just ask or agree on something, but I guess that depends on where you live.

Read carefully because i explain
Here in quebec, lot of appartment owners will say "no animals" when they actually mean "no dogs"
It's because on that website, there is two options for "animal allowed?" "Yes" or "No"
Nothing like "No dogs" or "cats allowed"

Who the fuck are you to tell me this?!
It would be sweet if you could leave longer replies...

I don't understand

PS: It is obviously meant from my viewpoint.
I'm not good with all languages obviously...
Something you should take into consideration
PPS: You have a cat avatar. I *do expect* you to be cool !

I hate ordering stuff online if I can go buy it somewhere close to me, and everywhere anymore will give you a discount only if you order it online, bs. Should be a discount if I go pick it up, not order online.
  • K3Nv2 @ K3Nv2:
I love it for most things most stores you just shows the receipt online and they scan it

Makes it easy for incompetent restaurant staff that don't know how to hear an order
  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
Mostly for big purchases, I want it in my hands before I pay. Like a tv, I trust picking it up myself, before I'd trust it being sent thru mail/delivery. (Broken screen, etc) But yea if I can order online, then pickup at store is ok, but not all places offer that.

Thing is, if you break it driving back to your house, it's your fault. But if the delivery driver damages it, it's not your fault.

Most people that haul big tvs have empty trucks or know enough not to set it face down
  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
Then I gotta send it back and wait another week or two.
