yes, it will automatically download updates no matter what you do. it won't install them without your consent unless you have standby enabled iirc. then, it will install them while the system is standby/off.

Thx didn’t realize standby was on for mine. Off it goes. Probably won’t see another update for years if at all but still

And will probably be back in a storage box well before then :D

if you're using anything but tiramisu, it might be a good idea to delete that update folder in mlc/sys. I have a feeling it will constantly nag you about an update if it downloads it.

I was using Tiramisu with coldboot and still got updated firmware during the night. Today i used UFDiine and deleted the update folder. hoping for it to stop unexpected updates in the future

As maschell said if you had standby mode the most probably thing was it was going to update, if you want to avoid these updates the best is what you did already with UFDiine!

you'll still get the nag; if you try to update, it will error. I deleted my update folder manually, renabled it for the update, then left it.

I guess it's coldboot, no risk, and the ability to start up with plugins, like bloopair. it's a precursor to aroma, which will be the ultimate in wii u hacks.
what will change from taste to tiramisu / cbhc and all cfw? Will there be things that have never been seen in the modding scene?

Not sure if it's a tiramisu or Bloopair issue tbh but anyway my issue is my gamepad was working fine and dandy then had to reboot Wii U as I believe it crashed out (This part not a 100% sure I mean touch was working perfectly) then I tried Sonic Mania Port then after this bit touch is only semi working

Homescreen my gamepad is pretty much unusable except L & R and X work as for directional buttons nothing can't navigate but oddly press X to swap to TV view and gamepad can still move camera etc... As if nothing ever happened but touch isn't working fully only when it wants to.

Reason I believe it may be something conflicting like bloopair is because I have a Switch Pro Controller which as soon as I press a button it connects and works flawlessly (Wish there was a method to test the Gamepad Screen)

I've installed this wonderful Tiramisu CFW months ago, it boots quicker than CBHC.
Is there anyway to load some custom elf during boot?
Like when I want to play vWii Wii64 and want to launch c2w for higher performance and framerate, is there a way to launch c2w (or at least homebrew launcher) at boot? Thanks.

Is there a way to have Tiramisu check for updates to it on the console? Or to be notified of when Tiramisu updates are released?

I would create a Github account and watch the releases (notify new release)
So you get update notifications through e-mail when update is released.

Not a bad idea, but which github page? There are 5 different repositories to download from on the tiramisu.foryour.cafe website for the base Tiramisu, not counting the repositories for the EnvironmentLoader and other parts of it. I suppose I could watch everything.

I agree, but for now it seems to subscribe to all repositories to be sure to obtain any updated release. You can also download the whole package and when the zip file differs from tiramisu.foryour.cafe then also a release has happened. Albeit workarounds unfortunately :)
