I literally said FS patches in the comment lol. I figured it out though, IPS Patch Creator requires the firmware dump to have both FAT and exFAT NCAs in the dump or it just won't generate the patches and my Tegra Explorer dump doesn't have the exFAT driver NCAs because I've never used an exFAT...
How are you guys generating FS patches with IPS patch creator for 16.0.0? It just throws an error about decrypting. Keys are up to date and I've played around with the sizes but nothing allows them to actually generate. All the other patches generate fine.
EDIT: Apparently it won't make them...
Where exactly is your proof? Every link you posted talks about file system corruption which you can recover the SD card from by formatting it... At no point did I say exFAT does not have corruption issues, especially on the Switch. I specifically have my 256 GB Nintendo SD card formatted as...
Lol, I'm holding two conversations with two different people replying at two times so I can't exactly merge my replies to both of you every time. Stop trying to be a mod, cuz you aren't one.

I'm not going to list a bunch of links (that will probably get removed) for you when you can literally Google "Amazon fake SD card mixing" and find a dozen articles about it.
That is simply untrue.
Google it my dude, it's been happening for years. When a seller selling the same product as Amazon wants it to be fufilled by Amazon, they provide Amazon with their own stock and if it's an identical product it gets mixed in with Amazon's own stock under the assumption...
Lmao you are so wrong.
exFAT is simply more vulnerable to corruption for a variety of reasons and if your data becomes corrupt you can just format the SD card and start over.
Corrupt data is not the same as destroying and SD card...
My original post said that third party sellers send in fake...
It will not destroy an SD card. It's just more vulnerable to losing/corrupting data and if you just format it as FAT32 on a PC you never have to install the exFAT driver on your Switch.
I really could not care less about how many SD cards you have purchased.
What I'm telling you happens all the time and you are one of like 200,000,000 that order things on Amazon lol.
Lol, you are clearly trolling at this point because I have explained how it happens in great detail. Ordering an SD card sold and shipped by Amazon does not guarantee that it is legit at all.
You are one the hundereds of millions of customers that shop on Amazon. You do not represent everyone.
Bro you need to learn to read.
Third party sellers send in their stock to the Amazon warehouses so they can be fulfilled by Amazon. They send in 10 pallets of fake Sandisk SD cards. Amazon assumes they are legitimate and mixes them right into their own stock of real Sandisk SD cards. Third...
While I agree, most people just sign in with a Microsoft account anyways because most of us have one, and if you don't then I guess just leave your internet unplugged for the initial OS setup and suck it up.
Have fun missing security updates, performance improvements, DX12, DirectStorage and...
Did you even read what I said? A third party seller sends in fakes to Amazon to be fulfilled by Amazon and because Amazon assumes they are real they mix them into your stock. People get fake SD cards directly from Amazon (as the seller included) all the time and it's a huge issue.
Amazon is like the number one place for fakes outside of Chinese stores like Aliexpress. Third party sellers fulfilled by Amazon send in fake product and it all gets mixed in with the real ones under the assumption that it is real.
