    AFAIK it isn't Nintendo that services the consoles, they send them out to an external repairer. They had me ship mine to some other shop in New York, not directly to them... at least that's what the shipping label they provided said.

    There is no current way to 100% not be banned (other than being offline forever), and you will lose all access to fortnite if you get banned. You won't be able to get past the loading screen. It will say this console has been banned from online services.

    No, if you’re going to format, do it with a PC, but you shouldn’t need to format it at all. It should be ready to go, just copy your files over.

    It’s really near impossible to have a 100% safe cfw. There’s always the possibility of detection, Nintendo is always keeping on security, etc. I’m not waiting, because IMO right now it’s better to be banned because you can still do everything but online play, while not having to worry about...
