I love this unending stale feeling. I might've complained about it a while back. If I did, everything still feels stale the majority of the time. Very weird and unfun.
My earbuds wore out at the port again. I realized that the audio cable I used at the end moved around a lot, so I'm trying the other half but with sewing needles stuck through it to keep it from bending too much.
Fixing the same pair of earbuds over and over is inspiring me to try new things (some very stupid) to prevent breaking in the same exact spot. It's fun to see how much I can improve it to not break.
Jekyll my beloved <3
Learned about data files and now instead of putting in the links by hand, jekyll auto generates all the info from a CSV.
I've got ever single program listed here, so I just have to give it the name and it'll make links, get all the info, create warnings if the program is unsafe, etc
I just released the DSi stuff I was mentioning! Development classroom NANDs, a MangaON NAND, a new devcart, etc. I can't share the link here due to silly TOS, but I can guarantee you'll find the release page through my website, twitter, or discord server.
I found another apple tree of a different variety! A pale yellow color, very soft, slightly sour but also super sweet. I don't know my apples all too well but it tastes great. I don't think I've had this kind before.
Same situation as before where half the apples were rotting because nobody picks them. I added some good ones to my basket. I don't think I've ever had this much fruit at once lol
mfw the left and right wires in my earbuds break, I fix them and everything works so I put away my soldering stuff, then the ground wires comes loose. I guess I'll be fixing everything so my earbuds should be good for a while (in theory).
I was walking around today and found an apple tree reaching way over the fence. I filled my bag with ~$10 of apples. There were a couple hundred rotting on the ground and just as many good ones still hanging, so I figure nobody bothered picking them. Couldn't let them go to waste!
It's cool watching the downtown area wake up. I got there early and saw the sun come up, people going to work, stores opening, etc. I've never seen downtown at that time before so it's really neat.
I could never solder to the wires in my earbuds, but I found a lighter and some solder paste worked perfectly. I thought only that solder paste worked for those wires.
Finally figured out it works because the lighter is burning off the coating on the wires... this entire time I could've used regular solder but I bought a stupid amount of expensive solder paste instead. I feel like an idiot lmao
@Xdqwerty yes, when you are installing Windows on the first steps you are asked for your current location, you MUST to select «international» so no bloatware is installed, because the bloatware is location based. if this night I have some time I will setup a VM and take screenshots.
I think my favorite one was that dancing purple gorilla... I uninstalled that thing from sooo many machine people would be like "Why is my computer so slow?" lol because this thing is using like 30% of your system resources.....
This one lady... her son kept installing Kazaa... OK no problem the issue is he would download DBZ movies and they where amazing usually like 2-8KB in size lol can't remember how many times I had to format and reinstall windows over his stupidity. I even explained to him about file sizes multiple times...
@Psionic Roshambo, Yeah, BonziBuddy was both spyware and ad-ware. It collected children's personal information without consent as well as display fake Windows popups.
