  • I love this unending stale feeling. I might've complained about it a while back. If I did, everything still feels stale the majority of the time. Very weird and unfun.

I suppose I can mention it to my doctor next visit. Note that I said my doctor and not x65943... he's an american so I don't really want to add on to the $250 bill he sent for his doctorly advice of seeing a doctor :P

Understandable. Look after yourself and stay safe, you're a great friend and I care about you a lot.

My earbuds wore out at the port again. I realized that the audio cable I used at the end moved around a lot, so I'm trying the other half but with sewing needles stuck through it to keep it from bending too much.

Fixing the same pair of earbuds over and over is inspiring me to try new things (some very stupid) to prevent breaking in the same exact spot. It's fun to see how much I can improve it to not break.

Huh, why didn't I think of that? Could be fun to try for when my earbuds inevitably break again lol

Earbuds have the worst cables, seriously.
You should get some with a removable/replaceable cable. Replacement cables can be as cheap as $2-$3.

That'd be silly though, why would I pass up the opportunity to fix mine all the time?
    Jekyll my beloved <3
Learned about data files and now instead of putting in the links by hand, jekyll auto generates all the info from a CSV.
    1696299397831.png

I've got ever single program listed here, so I just have to give it the name and it'll make links, get all the info, create warnings if the program is unsafe, etc

As you can see the CSV has plenty of info. I'm really glad I found out about that. My website isn't well made and hasn't been since I first made it, but I keep finding little things like this that really improve it and make it not painful to edit.

And best of all my horrible n00b jekyll logic disappears when the site is built.

I'm jekyllmaxing so hard rn. Now I just write the text for a page and it builds everything else. I can be lazy again and not worry about updating things on every page when I decide I don't like something.
I just released the DSi stuff I was mentioning! Development classroom NANDs, a MangaON NAND, a new devcart, etc. I can't share the link here due to silly TOS, but I can guarantee you'll find the release page through my website, twitter, or discord server.

Good luck finding it and I hope you enjoy!

Oh fuck I should update that.
I don't want to put releases up there as much because they could appear on google somehow and ruin results for my "real" site. Sad if people find this and don't have a link. TwlNmenu without a link is fine since it's easy enough to find, but these dumps would be much harder.

But yeah at least I could add a KART page and update everything else.

If you're having trouble getting results on your actual website to appear on Google then i think it's probably fine
(as in, if you don't do anything to force Google, nothing will happen)
Besides, it's not hard to find the version that you would rather people see

Two bad dumps can make a good dump. I really shouldn't tease a release when I'm far from being done, but here we are.

Curious, when was that? If there's an older update that works then I might want that. The melonDS I have now doesn't work with dev NANDs (white screen) but maybe different versions are better.

Ah, mine is pretty recent so that might explain it.
I found another apple tree of a different variety! A pale yellow color, very soft, slightly sour but also super sweet. I don't know my apples all too well but it tastes great. I don't think I've had this kind before.

Same situation as before where half the apples were rotting because nobody picks them. I added some good ones to my basket. I don't think I've ever had this much fruit at once lol

mfw the left and right wires in my earbuds break, I fix them and everything works so I put away my soldering stuff, then the ground wires comes loose. I guess I'll be fixing everything so my earbuds should be good for a while (in theory).

Get headphones or earbuds with a removable cable. They're plentiful, and replacement cables can cost as little as a couple bucks.

I have the KBear KS2, good value for money but the cable that comes with it is bad. Sadly the cable standard used there is one of the less common ones, so there are not many replacements that are an exact fit (they will still work but won't have a seamless fit), I managed to find one that is, but it was $10 so almost half the cost of the earbuds.

    >Sony headphones.
@HarveyHouston tried 2 pairs of sony earbuds and they broke at the audio jack. Seems like a common point of failure for every pair of earbuds ever made.

@The Real Jdbye that seems like it'd be good. I'll keep it in mind once my earbud parts are gone :P
I was walking around today and found an apple tree reaching way over the fence. I filled my bag with ~$10 of apples. There were a couple hundred rotting on the ground and just as many good ones still hanging, so I figure nobody bothered picking them. Couldn't let them go to waste!
It's cool watching the downtown area wake up. I got there early and saw the sun come up, people going to work, stores opening, etc. I've never seen downtown at that time before so it's really neat.

No, that was another one. My dsi dev/proto one I very much want people to see. I've been using it as a reference on a couple of wikis in hopes that will bump it up, but I imagine it'll take a while before anything changes. I'll also ask for a recrawl in a moment.

Or perhaps, a dummy cart for display purposes. You can find dummy consoles in the wild sometimes, they have a blank PCB (containing traces and pads) inside just like that. Haven't heard about display cartridges though. The cartridge slots on dummy display units are typically filled in with an empty cartridge shell.

I could never solder to the wires in my earbuds, but I found a lighter and some solder paste worked perfectly. I thought only that solder paste worked for those wires.

Finally figured out it works because the lighter is burning off the coating on the wires... this entire time I could've used regular solder but I bought a stupid amount of expensive solder paste instead. I feel like an idiot lmao
    rvtr

At least solder paste is great for all those times I stubbornly refuse to solder on a table and hold all my wires in the air because I don't like sitting down.
