How can I restore clean NAND from a NAND backup with a lower version then the fuses?

I have always been using emuMMC without connecting to any WiFi, so I'm pretty confident that my Switch hasn't been banned. But after I recently wanted to try play online with OFW, I realised I've made a few mistakes.
I did backup my NAND, it's on version 10.2.0, but I've updated the OFW to version 11.0.0, so the fuses are unmatched with my backup. Is there a way to clean my NAND and go oinline at this point?
Thanks for any help.

There shouldn't be any need to restore sysNAND if you kept it clean. Restoring sysNAND can look suspicious to Nintendo anyway because the logs will be rolled back and won't match what's on their servers anymore, if the console has been online since the backup was made (which it presumably has since you updated it)

What is your OFW firmware and fuse count?
OFW is 10.2.0, fuse count is 14

Yeah... I really should've done a little more research on this, but the damage has been done. So I guess my best chance would be, go in to CFW on NAND, and use Daybreak to update to 11.0.0, and use System Wipe with TegraExplorer, and try to go online from there?

OFW is 10.2.0, fuse count is 14

Fuse count 14 expect firmware 11.0.0-12.0.1, did you restore your nand backup, it is impossible to play online unless you upgrade to the latest firmware which is 18.0.1, doing that would bump your fuse count to 19, but as The Real Jdbye say if you have have a clean NAND it is okay to update the firmware and just make a new NAND backup.

Ok, how should I update then? With Daybreak, or just in the OFW?

@SylverReZ, I also heard one of the Prince of Persia games was so unfinished that it required the "24/7 online" drm so a puzzle could be done and the game could be finished. And that when the Ubisoft servers were closed the (cracked) game was impossible to finish or something like that
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
@Xdqwerty, That's extra scummy. Ubisoft nowadays ship out incomplete games like Skull and Bones which was being worked on for nearly a decade now.

I like that games can be fixed after the fact, hate that it's being abused via beta tests... And DLC... I was a 7800 owner back in the day and loved Impossible Mission, turns out I couldn't beat it because it was actually impossible lol

I never knew about it at the time but a fixed version was available but you had to mail in your broken copy lol
