Hi guys,

As per title, I'm looking to extract and change the banner, icon and sound of a game packaged in .cia, then repack it so that when installed it'll show my customizations on the home screen.

I've checked but can't really find a tutorial, can anyone point me in the right direction to any tools or guides out there to do this?

Or give me a quick rundown here if possible? Thanks!

.Net 3DS Toolkit - This program will decompile and recompile your decrypted CIA games into their respective directories and folders. It requires .Net Framework 4.6 installed in order for it work.

Every File Explorer - This is a multimedia file viewer. It is not compatible with every file known to the 3DS (ie, ex: .bclyt layout). There's a fork made by lxy2016?? that is up to date. You will need to unpack it with either 7zip or go to right-click properties to 'Unblock' for it extract correct with winRAR.

3DS Explorer - Another file explorer. It is good to use both this and Every File in conjunction.

There's some other ones like converting PNG to .bclim and vice-versa image converter. https://github.com/kwsch/png2bclim

Thank you kindly @TurdPooCharger

.Net 3DS Toolkit sounds good, I have framework 4.6 already so I'll give it a quick run.

Thanks for the handy list of links especially png2bclim and the banner tools, that simplifies things a lot.
