Review Approach:

Im not suprised that theres no review about this great game so I thought why shouldn't I doing it instead
Taiko no tatsujin is a rythm game port from the arcade that exist since 2001 in japan. Taiko no tatsujin Little dragon and the mysterious orbs is the first opus released on 3ds .
First of all this game is inspired from the drum instrument called a taiko that have 2 notes , the Don on the center of the drum and the KA at the edges.

I personnaly discovered that game randomaly and I still play it since 4 months :)

We start with our Taiko character that we can further customise him with different accesories , theres 3 mods of gameplay :

The Taiko mode :

This mode is the main gameplay with a selection of songs you can play with 4 different difficulties Easy/Medium/Hard/Extreme (the extreme mod is not availble at the beginning)

With that there's also the difficulty of the song represented with stars , the difficulty also depends of what you selected : a 3☆ medium will be more hard than a 3☆ easy

For beginners I recommand playing low stars songs in Medium :D

There's also some different modifiers to make it more hard and even change the sound of you're taiko to have more fun !

The story mode :

The particularity of this opus is having a story mode for a rythm game ! Said like that is not really clear so let me explain.

It's a mix betwen boss fights and training with playing using the power of rythm to save Soprano's voice (the princess of the kingdom) from Maoh the king of the demons !

You have also the possibility to play in easy/medium/hard and change many times you want during the gameplay.

The local multiplayer mode :

You can also play with you're friends up to 4 in locals without necessary have the game thanks to the download app :)

It's more fun to match with others !
You can create a room or join one , the host will be able to choose the song / the difficulty/ the randomless of the songs ; it's pretty much different from the taiko mode cause in that battle betwen you and you're friends you'll have boxes with a question mark that represents a bonus for you or a malus for the others during the battle , the person with the best score will win at the end of the match :)

As I said earliers there's a customisation part when you can choose betwen four Taikos : Don the main one who have the face in red , Katsu the second main character and brother of Don / He have a blue face , Yuricurricuta is the yellow taiko and yogumaru is the green taiko.

As long as you play you will unlocks some outfit that can be funny sometimes and changing depending on what character you choosed.

There's also a Stamp book that makes you unlock different costumes or songs but also uprgrade youre rank by complet some quests , there's in total 99 of them !
