Now that you've got a new-found respect for the Gameboy, I highly recommend playing these games:
- Metroid II
- Pokemon Trading Card Game (still my number 1 game to this day)
- Cool Ball/Pop Up - insanely addictive
- Super Pika Land - a hack of Super Mario Land but I like the blue background...
Good luck! I just finished my last piece of work for uni last Monday and boy, what a relief! I'm also 2 years to graduating. My summer's gonna be a mix of gaming and learning Java and C++.
Leaving isn't necessary. I'm not really well-known around here but I've seen people come and go (honorable mention goes to The Worst). It's always sad to see someone go. I hope you overcome your issues quick and come back. Yeah, I agree with what someone has said here previously: make a big...
I AM FUCKING PISSED OFF!!!
As you all know, Portal 2 came out earlier today. I'm sure many of you got your copies happily whether online or in-store. For the online people, it's easier as you just have to stay at home and wait for the postman to give you that jiffy bag with your name on it...
Hey how do you exactly get "qualified"? I quickly registered mine as soon as I got mine, but since some people got theirs days before launch, I don't think I won. What exactly happened when you registered the code? Was there a confirmation window/e-mail saying you've won or did you just register...
Staying at home to finish my coursework. I'd rather than go to uni and "try" to do work in such a demotivating environment. Students are noisy, teachers are lazy and my mates don't go at all. Maybe that's why they don't go :P
At first, I thought this was a "I stayed at home to wait for the 3DS"...
Oh wow! Just realized that it's coming out next week! Didn't mean to add insult to injury there. Well I've done a lot of things that will surely help me feel occupied and not think about the 3DS that much. I've bought a dozen of Xbox 360 games from eBay so I will never get bored of my Xbox :P...
Well I mentioned that I've tried the 3DS twice. The first one was at HMV in Oxford St. and it was basically a secret demo, where they require you to ask the guys at the till if you can try out the 3DS then they take you to an aisle and the only demo they had was the AR mystery card. The 3DS...
I'd say the effect is only basic. Nothing really special. I only played one level so there might be other levels that showcase awesome 3D effects. I'm still confused about the use of the bottom screen. At first I thought you had to swipe when you have to use the force or to plant bombs (as a...
Don't take my word for it though. I'm not sure they've fixed it as any glossy surface is bound to have fingerprints and dust and stuff. I never really noticed any marks when I played on the 3DS systems. My hands were quite dry at that time and they never really become oily that much. Doesn't...
Didn't really notice much fingerprints after I've played each 3DS'es. I haven't noticed smudges on the buttons when I played an extensive session of Lego SW and it was the black model. For the blue, it seems that my fingerprints go away suddenly :P
A big step up. Like I said about LEGO Star Wars, it felt like it was the console version and not the DS version. The framerate was smooth. Heck, all of the games were comparable to the console versions (SF, OoT, Resident Evil, Pro Evo). I didn't put a review on Pro Evo because I sucked at it and...
Hehe, glad to hear that :) Well I don't wear glasses and putting the depth slider in the middle didn't really feel adequate for all of the games I've played. For all of them, the 3D was set to max and it was fine for me (except for the first two games where the 3D effect didn't really apply to...
Sooo... I just went to the 3DS hands-on booth at Westfield London earlier and I had a blast. Spent at least 1 hour there. It was awesome! They had most of the launch games up for demo, and also Zelda! ^_^ Oh, and to top it off with hot girls around. So nice that they are all "3DS-savvy", hearing...
