For SNES :
Get Snes9x GX 4.4.8
Extract it to the root of your sd card
Roms goes to sd:/snes9xgx/roms
For Genesis :
Get Genesis Plus GX 1.7.5
Extract the apps folder to the root of your sd card
Place roms in sd:/genplus/roms
If it doesn't exist create the folder
Can be placed on USB too
I'm currently writing a frontend to run the .dol of the game but I couldn't find a way to read the filesystem of the currently loaded game.
I trimmed down the game collection to only one game. I just need Metroid Prime 1. That's for a converter I'm writing to play randomized iso.
Updated to v1.5 :

- Added a start wrapper to start directly a console or terminal on different OSes

He said .vpk not .pkg so the license wouldn't generate aka you can't use it. And even if you would have a .pkg it still not guaranteed it would generate a license since the license is made through psn. Unless PS3 has some sort of way to generate licenses from installed pkg.
Not sure about PKG...
amphetamin already hooks functions so it could be used but again then you need to know where the functions is located and looks like it's a lot more complicated than a simple hook in win32 programs.
That should be possible with a dumped version of the game since you can use plugins there. Then it would require to hook in the getresource function. A bit like hans in 3DS but as a plugin.
