    Evercade cartridge reader to USB

I guess time will tell. I was too curious, so I took a calculated risk.

    Evercade cartridge reader to USB

FYI I did try to use a Retrode 2 with a Game Boy adapter, but nothing showed up except NoName.ngp with the size of 64 KB.

Running AtGames' Fix-It Felix Jr. via libretro and QEMU

True. But that is a homebrew port. This is an Disney approved officially licensed version, witch makes it interesting from a preservation standpoint at least.

Who's ready to hack the Atari 2600+?

Should be doable to add some custom software and stuff on in, right?

This is interesting. I just recently dumped the game from my ATGames-console, but have no idea how to actually play it.

AtGames Legends Flashback (2019) Best way to dump the included games?

Recently got my hands on one of these and was wondering what's the best way to dump the games that are included. Seems like it has solder points for USB and UART as well as a SD-card slot. PS Yes, I know I can just find the ROMs somewhere on the internet, but where is the fun in that?

    Evercade cartridge reader to USB

I see. Really wished they would use unmodified disk images. But I guess that's to much to ask of them to get a Kyroflux or Greaseweazle to create true 1:1 floppy disk images.

    Evercade cartridge reader to USB

Interesting. Renaming the minis vsf to d64 doesn't seems to work with CCS64 and on Vice it just boots to the snapshot.

    Evercade cartridge reader to USB

Thank you for the info. Blaze seems to be using VSF (Vice Snapshot File) on their THEC64 Mini/Maxi, so a simple renaming of the file extension wouldn't do, if i have understand the VSF-format correctly.

    Evercade cartridge reader to USB

Thank you. I'll have a look. BTW. Do you know what format the C64 cartridge uses for games? 1686609686 That would be awesome if you did. I'm interested.

    Evercade cartridge reader to USB

Fair enough. No problem. I did have my first try at a soldering iron and a Atari Flashback a couple of months ago with great success, so I'm down for a new project. If you can point me in the right direction on the parts I need that would be greatly appreciated.

    Evercade cartridge reader to USB

A while ago I saw someone on YouTube who made a USB adapter for the Everdrive cartridges to access the included ROMs. Do anyone know how to make one. Or is it maybe possible to use a Gameboy cart reader like the GB Operator, Retrode 2 or maybe the Save The Hero Project one? deleted link:

Just to be on the safe side. I'm not well versed with these type of components. Would you mind pointing to what you got from Amazon, so I don't accidentally order some wrong parts? I'm guessing some sort of UART to USB device and some male to female jumper wires.

So glad it worked out. I want to give it a shot myself. Would you mind pointing me in the right direction on what to do on the software side of things. Don't expect you to do a full on tutorial just for me, but I've never done this kind of things before and are very curious. I plug the USB into...

How does that work? You just use tape or something?

Since they also removed the ability to play arcade ROMs on the European 1.1 version, I'm guessing that's when they removed access permissions as well. So it probably works fine on the American 1.1. Someone in this thread can probably confirm if it works.

They removed the ability load arcade ROMs from the SD card at least.
