Hi i have a new old stock ps4 on 1.76 firmware and wondering if that low of a version has any added usefullness to future hacks? Ive read that the original fat ps4s on 1.76 had a possible way to be permanently exploited not need to run a HEN.

that's a good question. I think the majority of further exploits are lumped together with 5.05 or 6.72. supposedly, we have the security keys for the SAMU processor up to 7.5x. I don't really think hackers are looking on that old of firmware, considering there would be very, very few people on it.

I say that low of a firmware is gold, do Not update.

Instead of updating, I bet if you take a screen-shot of this 1.76 ps4 and list on eBay for sale it would fetch a pretty penny. If it's new as you say possibly over $900 coz I've seen new and Sealed Ps4 slims going for $800.

Then use the cash for a Ps5(GoW Ps5 is $550 @ Sony PlayStation direct) Plus a 9.00 Ps4 pro($350 used)

Also keep in mind its level of noise.

So if it's quiet and got an extremely low firmware, then it could be very valuable to someone out there who wants a hackable PS4.

I too lost interest using my PS4 Pro and decided to sell, but I kept an HDD full of backups (to my liking - not all) when I ever decided to get back to it.

That is suspicious, but check the feedback.

eBay won't allow sellers to leave negative for scammers/time wasters so we (sellers) have to leave positive feedback with a warning to avoid that buyer as a warning to future sellers.

ya dont take that. ebay always favors the buyer. scams rarely end well for the seller

Yeah, there's a YouTuber who sold a bunch expensive items individually for the same address, and then the scammer tried to scam the seller.

The seller asked eBay if it was safe to send and they told him "yes" so he did. Me? I'd have canceled it!

Here's the video:

Scammers forget they give their address to genuine, honest sellers/people so...

Is it piracy if it was released for free? Not in my opinion, but I also think it's not piracy if buying it isn't owning it, and it's not piracy if you can't buy it from the original creators anymore.
