Okay well, to put it simply whenever I load a game on this it just leads me to the black screen of death. Yes, even in different loaders.

In USB Loader GX (July 4th channel build, not sure what revision)
*All covers show up fine. Only problem is once I load a game the screen goes pitch black. Or, if I try to play a dual layer game (Like Other M) it crashes.

In USB Loader GX (r1000, from a few days ago)
*As soon as I start the app, it just sits at (Waiting for USB Device) I wait for thirty seconds, even though on the July 4th build it loaded instantly.

Configurable USB Loader
*Does the same thing July 4th build of USB Loader GX. Loads to Black Screen of Death.

Now, I decided to format the partition to NTFS instead, to see what would happen.

In USB Loader GX (July 4th channel build, not sure what revision)
*Says "WBFS or FAT/NTFS Partition not found. Then a few buttons [Select] [Partition] [Format] if I click select, no matter what one I select it'll crash, make weird staticy ear-rapey noises and come up with a stack dump or something.

In USB Loader GX (r1000, from a few days ago)
*Same as before.. Just counts down from thirty as if it doesn't even notice my external.

Configurable USB Loader
*Now, this ones interesting. It doesn't automatically hook onto the NTFS partition, although if I select the partition it's easily fine with it. Of course though - for some reason it won't even detect any games..

Now, I've got a 2TB External Hard Drive by Verbatim. 1.4TB FAT32 Partition for my PS3 modding needs, and a precisely 585GB NTFS partition. Before it was WBFS but I reformatted because of the BASOD, and I've got all of the games in the root of the NTFS partition - Am I doing it wrong? Kinda feels that way but maybe there's more to it?

Thanks,

I might be wrong (I've said this before actually lol), but I think your Wii won't read more than a 500GB partition......
Plus (and again I'm not sure as I don't use NTFS), your games have to be in a folder named wbfs..... and isn't NTFS still a bit buggy? Why don't you format it into FAT32, and maybe knock around 100GB off the partition......

EDIT - after a better read of your post lol - seems cfg will read more than 500GB..... just place all your games into a folder named wbfs and I reckon you'll be good to go!

My main partition is FAT32 for my PS3, but I can't put wii ISO's on there because you can't have files bigger than 4GB o_o did I format it wrong or something?

If you format the whole drive to Fat32 when you convert either your Ps3 or Wii games your games managers will split the files for you PS3 games with larger than 4gb chunks will need to be transfered to internal drive to be played

So, what your saying is I should get rid of my 600gb partition completely and add it back into my FAT32 main partition? And PS3 games don't need to be split up as they're in folders and there are no image files involved. And, what do you mean by game managers? Please elaborate and also I can play all my PS3 games fine on my external.

Yes 1 FAT32 is better
Wii backup manager is the program to put your files (and split up automatically)

Some games on PS3 have files over 4gb so they couldnt be transfered to external HDD. New PS3 games mangers split the files so you can store the image but need to install it to internal hdd to play.PS with some HDD when you have 2 partitions there is a pause in usbloaders causeing a loss of connection to the hdd hence games wont load
