Hacking 3DS Chip Decapping Fundraiser

I just noticed that the fundraiser by 3DBrew reached the amount of $2000.

According to the fundraiser page, that was the amount of money they needed.

We have gotten a price quote from a professional lab on the deal (removal, decap, delayer, SEM imaging) and it came out to $400 per layer of the chip, which they estimate will come to "about $2000 total".

So, just wondering, if anything is going to happen soon?
