I'm not sure how to follow the rxtools guide since I can't use the browser without updating through WiFi... And I know that's one of the things I shouldn't do.

Feel like I'm stuck in a catch 22... Don't know where to start from since I don't have the browser available...

What's your whole firmware?

The browser shouldn't make you update unless you're on 9.9+?

Hi. I need some advices.
I have New 3DS, Zelda Majora's Mask edition, sysnand 9.0, EUR.
I do not have any retail games (no Cubic Ninja, no Zelda Ocarina Of Time) and no flashcards.
I'm planningto follow this tutorial - https://gbatemp.net/threads/tutorial-how-to-install-a-cfw-on-a-9-0-9-2-n3ds-without-cn-oot.398394/

My concern is that I don't want to install anything to my sysnand before i have an option to make a sysnand backup(preinstalled majora's mask).
Is there a way to do it? without gateway?

I'm on 6.2.0-0u and the browser app tells me to update through the Internet for it to become available... It is this part that has me hostage and reading the guides just doesn't answer my question...

I keep searching forums and YouTube with no luck.

Anyone have a link to fixing black screen of death with my nand backup for o3ds xl? Or know of someone who can do it affordably?

Which flashcart do you suggest to run 3DS games? I own a 3DS XL which is running on 9.4 firmware. after looking on the web I saw the most legit one is Gateway but it supports only 9.2. So is there any flashcart that is not a cheap fake or something that can run on 9.4? and if you can mention pros and cons

i'm on 4.1.0 and installed the newest rxtools via mset, everything working great so far except that i've got some black squares in my menu (i can live with that, but does anyone know how to get rid of those?)

in terms of updating, what is my best option? can i simply update my emunand via system options to the newest version or should i update my sysnand to 9.2.x - but i guess that leaves my emunand still at 4.1.0 and i would have to redo the whole creation of an emunand to have 9.2 on it?

You can go to emunand and update it through system options this would take you to 10.3 but if u go to settings to see if u are on emu and then return home, returning home will boot you back to sysnand so careful with that.

If you update to 9.2 there is still risk, just a warning. I was on 6.2 when I followed every step and it still bricked. I'm not sure what went wrong but I can assure you I followed the instructions carefully. I now wish I'd never tried to update. I hear being on 4.x things go smoother though.

Hope this helps.

Your only choice is Sky3DS. A new version has just been released /will be available soon (Sky3DS+ with orange buttons) so if you are going to buy a flashcart, wait for that.

Do I follow the cubic ninja guide for 2ds with 6.0 firmware if I have sky 3ds with the game rom, to install cfw?

I don't have one that would work on the 3ds...=( did I back myself into a corner?
I think a DS flashcart might be your only option - fortunately they are very cheap. If you get one that says it works on the latest version then you can be sure of it working with your console.

You can't use CFW above 9.2. As I said, Sky3DS is your only option for playing ROMs.

Edit: Sorry got confused since you quoted my post which was a reply to someone with 9.4 firmware. With 6.0 you don't need Cubic Ninja. You can install the DS profile exploit with a DS flashcart or with the web browser assuming you have one, and use that to boot rxTools. Read the guide https://gbatemp.net/threads/tutorial-installing-rxtools-custom-firmware-3ds-and-2ds.390867/

I think it's 12u
That means you're fine, you have a working browser. Scroll down to the bottom of the rxTools tutorial, about the third last section, and it will have details for installing the DS profile exploit with the browser. By the way the browser is the little blue world icon along the top row.

We had our grandkids over yesterday and I got a small above ground swimming pool I filled for them to play in. Well today I woke to find 3 ducks swimming around in it. Don't mind really but they are annoyingly loud, quack quack. Gotta drain it today. Guess what were having for dinner, lol.

I used butter instead of vegetable oil, and think that's why they squirted out during baking, who knows

plus if you're making brownies or lava cakes for people with dairy allergies, you should use oil instead of butter anyway

I make rum cake for 4th July every year, I make it a week prior and then soak it in rum in the fridge all week. I flip the cake each day, and add little more rum, it soaks it up everyday, so good.
