Nice that they'll give us that option. However, considering it will then be able to playback the videos it captures, they might as well add a general video player (or merge one in with the Nintendo 3DS Sound into something like Nintendo 3DS Media).

I wonder if this means HTML5 video too. (just a speculation)

3DS browser has support for HTML5, but Ninty chose to remove HTML5 video support at the moment. (I'm pretty sure the 3DS is capable of it)

Now the 3DS is getting video capture, hence video is useful now in HTML5 to the 3DS so it can have another way to view friends' videos and such.

I understand they're stance on Flash, but I can't see what would be wrong with playing/sharing videos recorded from a 3DS on the web. (strictly videos w/o the free gaming content ninty was worrying about)

Again, this is pure speculation.

does the 3DS automatically update itself while in sleep mode. i hope not. i'm all for updating my firmware after i update my flashcard. sad that the most use my 3DS gets is from old DS games.

Yes it does, if you allow it. If you don't want it to update disable spotpass.

I thought this was settled before the 3DS was out.

It can't update without explicitly letting you know and having your prior approval.

awesome, cant wait to test out making 3d videos, im also wondering, if they will also add 3d video support for the browsere, for youtube 3d, & stuff like that. or make a youtube 3d 3dsware.

i also want them to expand nintendo video to have 8 videos unstead of just 4. i wann amake use of my 8GB SDHC lol
