Guys, doesn't matter how silly, this is still a guide,
So stop posting Crap.

Nobody can be as stupid as to not know how to check the FW version, seriously. If you don't know how to do basic stuff like that, then don't even try to hack your 3DS.
ummm, have you seen the 3ds section?

Ah yeah, I always forget that one

--------------------- MERGED ---------------------------

REQUIREMENTS
*a 3rd - 4th grade education (so you know left and right)
*a 3ds device (to check your version)
*fingers (to tap the screen)
*eyes (to see the screen)

1. power on your 3ds
2. tap the square that has a wrench on it (this may require some scrolling scroll using the d pad)
3. direct your eyes to the top screen
4. on the bottom right hand corner you will see your FW version
If you're going to have an *idiot-friendly* guide, you have to anticipate that they won't know what a wrench is! Perhaps an *idiot-friendly* screenshot would help.

I don't think this guide is idiot friendly enough. They wont know what a FW is, or a Square, a wrench, or a finger.
You have to make it more friendly for the Patrick Stars of the earth.

I think the requirements should be a Pre School education.

You don't need fingers. And only one eye is required.

ill correct that 1 finger and 1 eye

@The Real Jdbye, I thought about that and I have blank DVD's and Blurays but honestly after like 90 songs I just listen to it a couple of hundred times toss it out and burn something else or have like 2-3 CD's. Florida here the heat in the car tends to ruin the CD's after like a few months even commercial pressed ones don't last too long.
