Actually, yes. I wanted to voice my honest opinion on the matter but now I'm tempted to vote banana. And I'm sure there are lots of others in the same boat.
I officially regret adding the forth option.

I'm going to be honest - I am looking forward to have the ability to use banana on Switch. I don't know why Nintendo doesn't add the feature oficially, because Nintendo's banana would probably be more ripe than a banana made for homebrew, and would be better integrated. There's no point in Nindendo not adding one, because CFW entrypoints and banana workarounds already exist, and adding a banana wouldn't really be a problem for future bananakit exploits, because they would already be possible with the workarounds. every other console has a banana so it's time for Nintendo to step up their game. Maybe even work with Netflix to add support for protected content to view Netflix in the banana (or better yet a standalone app).
Pleese stop

I think that the best "homebrew" browser is going to be something that modifies the official one from Nintendo, or makes it easier to use/navigate. Whether this simply means being able to launch the built in browser to Google.com via hbmenu, or is as involved as allowing custom HTML5-based "homebrew" apps, either way it would be cool.

There may already be enough level of access to be able to open the built-in web-portal-applet via homebrew, but I don't know of anybody who has tried this.

Agreed. No custom browser will ever be as good as the official one, with the proper JS, gamepad and touch screen support (etc.). It's almost better to wait for them to release a better browser with a URL bar and bookmarks and everything - however unlikely it is. But I'd much prefer the one used by the DNS now rather than a custom one.

    Or free government supplied high speed internet be nice also. Like Obama care. Xdqwerty that's cool, its time consuming but rewarding once done or playable, to see what you've made from scratch. Animations take forever, but worth it.

    @BigOnYa,
    and the visual aspect of the game is quite crude (the sprite that looks best is that of the protagonist just because he is a stickman with sunglasses)

    There is a bullets behaviour you assign to your character, that makes the code easier, under "behaviours"
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
    i meant that when the character is pointing to the right, the bullets spawn where they should, but when he is on the right, they move to the right but the spawn point is incorrect
  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
    Itch.io has lots of free assets also. Under the bullets behavior tab, there is a "rotate bullets" option, can try that. Or in the code can try
    - fire bullet Player.X(PlayerDirection)

    That's cool tho, I'm proud of you going back to it, not giving up. It is difficult at first to learn, but fun once you get the hang of it. I think I've watched every tutorial video there is, but I still struggle sometimes to get stuff to work right. But gotta keep trying dif things, and eventually you will get it right.

    I live maybe 3 minutes from a Dairy Queen, so I would just go there for ice cream anything anyways. I usually get the Oreo Blizzard, or a Peanut Buster Parfait.
