So I'm working on a game called "Accel World - Ginyoku no Kakusei" (Awakening of the Silver Wings) for the PSP.
I'm the translator, the programmer and the only member for this "project" (it's not really a project per se, just something to do while I'm waiting for another game to come out), and I was wondering if there is someone out there that actually knows anything about this game, this series.....or anything really related to it.
I've already translated a bunch of stuff in the game, as can be seen in the video, but I don't understand the mechanics of the game since I've never heard of this game/anime before. So if someone can act as my guide for what I'm translating, it will obviously help make the translations more accurate since I'm not native Japanese, I just know enough to translate Japanese video games.

This is mainly intended for fans of the game/anime, since there's no one else that I know of working on making a fanlation of it; so whether or not I can get someone to help me understand what I'm working on will determine if I continue modifying/translating the game.

My video I made:
Deleted, cause there's no point to it anymore.

you missed lots of principle when it comes to romhacking, like handling pointers for example. But I remember that game, damn it was really awful.
Also Yugioh / Bleach / Saint Seya, nice :P

Should I even bother with it then? I was only working on it because I was told it would be good practice. I don't usually play rpg's, which I assume that's probably what this is.

let just say it's a Visual Novel + Fight, take that and throw up on it, you have this game. (No seriously, I'm not even joking, you can check youtube)
afaik, every game is good experience, PSP though is not that good of an idea, it's way too easy, it's not really a good training if you want to get the basics.

Even if it's old, it's not outdated, learn what pointers are, if you are indeed a programmer you should already know what they are.

And about the game, maybe hardcore fans would like it but I don't really think it's worth your time and that's just my opinion.

Yeah, I already know pointing. I've already worked with Omarrrio on the Tag Force games. My stronger skill set is translating because I learned that way before programming.
Okay, thanks for the input.

Hi, have you completed the translation? If yes could you post the link, please? The game for PSP itself hasn't got a translation, has it? I loved the animated series of Accel World and I really want to play this game, but I don't know japanese and there are very little infos about the game. I mean, there are infos but they're all in japanese! I want to buy the game but without a translation it would be impossible for me to play. I heard that it is a dating sim too so if don't know the dialogues...
Thank you in advance.
PS: If I wrote bad is because I'm NOT English, sorry.

Accel world had a game on the PSP? woah :ninja:

Never knew that. I just checked YT and yeah it doesn't look that good. I think i will just pick up the crossover on Vita since that looks better imo.

But damn Reki kawahara, we need a Season II for this. Maybe after SAO S03 we will see it...
