Ummmm... Unless I'm mistaken I thought I read somewhere they only just started filming Skyfall. Isn't coming out next year?

Wikipedia says it's coming out October 26th.

In the UK. It's coming out on November 9th in the US according to this article.

I'm shocked that it's being released so soon.

A bit off topic but I'm wondering how this new director will handle it. I haven't seen Mendes other work but I'm hoping he'll try something a bit more "classic". I liked the other two Bond flicks featuring Craig but they still felt a lot like a Bourne Identity rip off. Seeing Q come back already makes this movie look very promising. Ditching him for the last two movies really defeated a large part of what Bond is about. But I like Craig as an actor, he's a fantastic Bond.

The only movie I can recall on Mendes directing is American Beauty. That movie was torture. The ending was sad IMO. Anyway, I agree the Daniel Craig is an amazing actor. He pretty was the only reason I watched the Adventures of Tintin movie. As bond he's my favorite so far. The only other bond films I've watched are the Pierce Brosnan films. I wasn't a fan of those. They were too cheesy for me and I got tried of James Bond sleeping with every women he encounters which causes a sex scene every five minutes. Casino Royale and Quantum of Solace barely had any loves scenes which I greatly appreciated.

Well, there isn't ,but anyway, you do realize that James Bond's character is a that of a women-devouring British spy and that is what made him so popular, so you just killed his character.
If that would change he just wouldn't be James Bond.

In the latest skyfall trailer the release date of the game has been annouced as October 16th and shows off one of the movie based games as Moonraker. assuming they are using a different era Bond for each setting that should file it down to Moonraker, On Her Majesties Secret Service, Skyfall and either License To Kill or The Living Daylights plus one Connery film
