Got a red 3DS XL replacement with a new GW3DS flashkit today. Time for some Hatsune Miku.

strange they would replace the console, when its well know now that they can be fixed ....maybe they are keeping it to beat the beta testers up who missed the bricking errors

anyways glad it all worked out for you, but just out of interest, did you notice if the gateway card you got back was the same one they said caused your brick

and im sure someone is going to say it so may's well beat them to it for lols

I've yet to send my bricked 3DS XL to them. I quoted them for shipping but haven't got a reply back yet. They sort of advance RMA'd a new 3DS XL system and GW3DS kit my way so I'd be able to try out the 2.0 final beta.

So just waiting now.

Over a month old, and posted before the "All reported brick thread" was even made. Plus I didn't want my post to be lost in a swamp of replies but thanks for the suggestion I suppose?

Yes I did, and as for the new beta firmware I'm still waiting on the email like the other testers.
