Hardware AGS-001 increase screen brightness

Does anyone know of a way to increase the brightness of the frontlit GBA SP? I found this mod:


but I haven't found much other info so I didn't try it out yet. Anyone here who have tried this or something similar?

i dont recommend increase brightness for frontlit SP. SP's frontlit lcd is unique one of kind, and has done with specific settings for good balance at that time. if you boost up brightness by force, all of color will be lose much saturation.

for ie http://blog.naver.com/cds7373/220745674147 its Korean but just see pictures. it replaces LED array so has difference with your simple over volt original LED(btw it will be works), but either way too much brightness makes low saturation.
