Hardware ags 001 screen with ags 101 board?

I see people all over wanting the better screen in their 001s but I actually need the opposite. I snagged a great deal on ebay 15 dollars for an ags 101 pretty beat up but apparently works fine. I also ordered a new shell. My old 001 from childhood has irreparable damage to the board but the screen works fine. I want to refurbish my old sp using the 101 board and use the 101 screen for a future project. I cant find any information regarding using the 001 screen with the 101 board. Anyone know a guy?

i found an old reddit post that hardly helps at all.(cant link yet im new) half say yes half say no. i got on gba temp discord someone messaged me yes and in the thread someone said its impossible. what.

When i did it, i read that it wouldnt work. So i bought an 101 mobo. Not sure if there is anyway to make an 001 mobo work with an 101 screen.
