Amazon is working on a Fallout TV series, to be produced by the team behind Westworld

You'll soon be able to experience Fallout, not by just playing it, but by watching it, as Amazon is working on a television show based on the franchise. Following upon previous video game TV adaptations such as Netflix's The Witcher, Amazon and Bethesda have teamed up to create a series, which is to be produced by Kilter Films, known for their work on the television show Westworld. Lisa Joy and Jonathan Nolan will be behind the production, while Bethesda's Todd Howard will be involved with the show as well, which will be available exclusively on Amazon's streaming service.

"Fallout is one of the greatest game series of all time. Each chapter of this insanely imaginative story has cost us countless hours we could have spent with family and friends. So we're incredibly excited to partner with Todd Howard and the rest of the brilliant lunatics at Bethesda to bring this massive, subversive, and darkly funny universe to life with Amazon Studios,” said Lisa Joy and Jonathan Nolan, Kilter Films.

Slow news day? Wasn’t this announced back in January?
Not sure what alternate reality you're from, but this was announced today, so...

Perhaps it was teased by some insider, or was a "leak" in January? Regardless, this is the official confirmation of such a thing existing.

EDIT: Amusingly, they've been copyrighting a TV show trademark for the franchise since 2012. So they must have been biding their time for video game TV shows to take off.

It will be an interactive series where choices matter like with bandersnatch. You can go through multiple hidden routes by making different choices that unlock a hidden route if you bought a red shirt or if you bought a blue hat an entirely different episode will play out for you. You can only watch the episode the way you played it out and can't rewatch it to make other choices to keep the experience as real as can be. If the viewer wants to watch the episode again and makes different choices and unlock new routes by bought cosmetics you can but have to pay 9.99 to do so. Every cosmetic that is worn and bought when making a choice does influence how the story goes so it's best to keep paying 9.99 replay each episode and buy all cosmetics and experiment with different choices through cosmetics that are worn !

I dunno what people here are smoking, Westworld is top-notch stuff as far as live-action TV goes. This definitely has potential.

Have you not seen "The Boys"? Not sure where you got the idea that Amazon's streaming shows are PG only, perhaps you're thinking of Disney+.

"lighted fallout"

Westworld is one of the most graphic recent show... there is child kill, human with humanoid sexe, nudity and is showing murder as a normal thing to do (even if they are humanoids, NOTHING visually indicate it most of the show, at least for the first season AFAIK, still didnt watch the reste after the 5th or 6th of season 2 IIRC).

Okay to every critics and being reserved to any chance of success, but regarding Westworld, it's very bold to stand such things when this show was everything but a non-violent light visual show...

I was really more "shocked" by the cruelty of Westworld then the one you can "see" in other show that feel fantastic such as game of thrones or whatsoever.
