Hello all, would be nice if people posted here if anyone receives a ban from AC:NH.

With my hacked switch running 1.1.0, farmed ~2,000,000 bells using the duplication glitch. Updated to 1.1.1 and dropped them off on my GF's legit switch using local play. I don't think my hacked switch is banned, and neither is hers. We've also given each other gifts like furniture and clothing with no issues. No cheats enabled, no save editors used.

Just refer to this, it's still too early to see if anyone is getting banned yet since a flag doesn't mean you're banned right away:

FYI, looking at the Animal Crossing update, you should expect bans if you go online with cheats/mods active.

There's code for calculating an AES CBC-MAC over the executable's .text/.rodata, presumably to verify on server.

(Check e.g. 1.1.0 .text + 0xB3DF8 if interested).

Do not use Edizon or the like on your sysnand for legit play with this game. It's an easy way to get banned. If you do want to use cheats, either inject a save or transfer items from one device to another. Injecting should not result in a ban. Easiest method I would say right now is using the ACNH editor that came out. It works in the same way as PKhex does and people injecting saves after editing Sw/Sh have not been banned.

Ive never wanted to ever cross the worlds until now. Are you saying i can inejct my emunand save file into my sysnand in a safe way?

How are you guys connecting the modded switch and the non-modded switch?? Mine doesn't detect the other's island on local.
I don't have cheats installed or anything. The modded switch is on emunand/nsp game though with incognito on. I tried removing incognito (using 90dns instead) and it still didn't connect.

you need to reboot your switch after you restored your serial with incognito.

Disable the lan system module on the modded switch if it's enabled.

I'm planning on moving my untouched save from emunand to sysnand to play online with, but I was considering using a save editor to change my island name first. How likely would that be to get detected/flagged?

Thanks for the replies. It still doesn't work. I have already rebooted after turning back incognito. And I didn't even have ldn_mitm installed. Some others are also reporting this problem on discord. It seems that its a dlc issue regarding the silk rug?? Would love if someone could come up with the solution. thanks again.

But running JKSV for clean sysnand, u need to do it in CFW, right?

I haven't hacked myself, but i was recently traded all 6 golden tool diys, 2 of which are unobtainable without hacks, and have not been banned. It is a legit switch. Pretty sure the switch i traded to was legit too, which means that someone traded with a hacked switch to get the DIYs and passed them on (or gave them away from the hacked switch itself) although i'm not sure who

Hey I’m having this same issue atm, can you explain more on the dlc causing the issue? Or did you figured, nvm it was lan play causing my issue I just deleted the file and it worked, if you don’t have it installed try a stock atmosphere with only the things you need and try again

If you think it could be the DLC, try backing up the save with JKSV and delete everything (save data, DLC, updates). After updating it back, restore the save.

Been playing with the latest Atmosphere in sysnand online. Nothing installed on my switch, just JKSV (haven't used it yet), edizon with tesla overlay (also not used ingame yet in any way), and goldleaf with emuiibo for the amiibo cards.

So far no bans. Will update if it happens.

Should note that I've been doing this with several other games (Monster Hunter Generations Ultimate, with the 60fps hack using Edizon) online for half a year now.

currently trading items hacked in on incognito switch on emunand locally to a legit non hacked switch. crossing fingers this will not cause either console to catch a ban, dont know how much info nintendo will see from offline local play sessions.
